#14. Porter and Middaugh / A. F. Middaugh Mercantile

Asa Middaugh and H. M. Porter opened a general mercantile here in 1876.  Porter left shortly after that, Middaugh owned and operated the business until 1919 at which time he sold to E. E. Franklin.  There have been numerous businesses, including grocery stores, meat markets, ski shop, gift and fabric shops.  It is currently Perks Coffee Shop.
