Lyndsie is a local journalist who has been in the San Luis Valley for over 10 years. In her time as a journalist for Valley Publishing, she has learned the local history through story and research. Lyndsie is thrilled to have the opportunity to represent Rio Grande County in her position as the new Director of the museum and will use her knowledge of the area and Colorado, in general, to help provide the best service available.

Kathy is a 6th generation native of the San Luis Valley and after retiring from her teaching career in the local school districts has found a home at Rio Grande County Museum. Kathy’s family played significant roles in the development of both the mining and agricultural history of the San Luis Valley.
