#48. Richards House

This house was originally a log cabin, and was built by H. E. Richards in 1872.  Among those who have lived here are John Shaffer the druggist, and Professor Daeschner who was a teacher and the Superintendent of Schools in Del Norte.  As the superintendent, Daeschner also taught German, geometry, chemistry, and bookkeeping.
