An Ode to Patriotism!

Bicentennial Celebration of the Revolutionary War Exhibit

The Rio Grande County Museum is home to a large collection of Bicentennial Memorabilia that we would love to share with you! In 1976 the entire country came together to celebrate 200 years after the Revolutionary War and created a wide variety of memorabilia to commemorate America’s freedom from Britain.

This diverse and enlightening exhibit truly captures the essence of patriotism and freedom in all forms. It will feature tales of the Revolutionary War, a timeline of events as well as artifacts and military displays throughout the museum.

Let’s celebrate our freedom and our country!
